TLA Events

Connecting Communities

In 2014, the Teaching-Learning Academy (TLA) proposed the creation of a trust-building event in response to the BIG question, "How do we ignite individual passion, purpose, and potential to co-create a culture of trust?" The TLA welcomes everyone to join the launching event on Monday, April 13 where students, faculty, staff, and community members can learn about volunteer opportunities available throughout campus and within the community. Individuals will also have a chance to sign-up for the Celebrating Service day scheduled for Friday, April 17 or they can view the service projects (listed below) and sign-up online. Volunteers will have an opportunity on the Celebrating Service day to recognize and celebrate with an ice cream social to continue connecting in service across communities.
